Using FishTrail

Use FishTrail lawfully, keep your account secure and provide content you have the right to share. Do not publish harassment, spam, illegal content, private information about other people, or misleading or dangerous location advice. You remain responsible for your posts; you permit us to host and display them to provide the sharing features you select.

Fishing and recognition

Fish identification, rankings and shared spots are informational and may be inaccurate. A shared spot is not permission to enter property or fish there. Check local access, fishing rules and conditions independently. Do not use recognition to decide whether a fish is safe to eat. Catch totals are self-reported and are not verified.

Subscriptions

FishTrail Plus provides access to other anglers’ shared fishing spots and catches as described in the purchase screen. Your own records and check-ins remain available without Plus. Available plans, price and billing period are displayed by the App Store before purchase. Annual plans bill upfront for one year; monthly plans bill for one month. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account. Manage cancellation and renewal in Apple’s subscription settings. Restore purchases from the account that originally purchased them. Refund requests are handled through Apple, subject to applicable law.

Availability and moderation

Content availability depends on approved user submissions, location and service availability. We cannot promise that any particular fishing area will contain shared spots. We may withhold or remove inappropriate content and restrict accounts that violate these terms. Use report and block controls or contact support. A subscription does not override another user’s privacy or block settings.

Your data and account

Read the Privacy Policy for data use and visibility. You can request account deletion in the app. Deletion does not automatically cancel Apple subscriptions or revoke Apple sign-in authorization. Keep copies of content you want to retain.
